  FPC:Flexible Printed Circuit in English,which means flexible printed circuit board in Chinese,or soft board for short.

 

  It uses light imaging pattern transfer and etching processes on the surface of a flexible substrate to make conductor circuit patterns.The surface and inner layers of double-sided and multi-layer circuit boards achieve electrical communication between the inner and outer layers through metallized holes.,the surface of the circuit pattern is protected and insulated with PI and glue layers.It is mainly divided into single panel,hollow board,double panel,multi-layer board,and soft-hard board.

 

  FPC is a technology developed in the United States in the 1970s to develop aerospace rocket technology,and then emerged in Japan.In 2003,Japan's flexible board industry began to sprout.It expanded rapidly in 2005,then declined in 2006.In mid-2007,the soft board industry fell to the bottom.It began to recover in 2008 and has developed to this day.

 

  5 major advantages of FPC circuit boards:
